Why it matters
Each field has a fixed data type in the standard, so that every receiver reads it the same way.
Example
What the validator says about a test message:
- What is wrong
- "reserveIndicator" must be a boolean, but it is a string.
- Where
- Field "reserveIndicator" (Indication whether a reserve is available / applies) in cohort "COH-20-24" in scheme "SPR-01". Path: party/0/pension/0/pension/0/reserveIndicator.
- How to fix it
- Provide "reserveIndicator" as a boolean. Check the column type in the source file or the mapping.
